Having been involved with both England and Scotland U18 camps, Teddy has earned an opportunity through his impressive performances during the 25/26 season.
Gloucester Rugby is pleased to confirm the Senior Academy intake for the 2026/27 season, with eight players graduating from the Club’s U18 Academy and one addition joining from Saracens.
This year’s cohort features England age‑grade internationals Junior Denny (Wing), Oli Hewitt (Fly Half / Full Back), Henry Horsfall (Back Row) and Krystof Wood (Wing / Full Back), alongside Wales pathway talents Tomos Evans (Centre / Full Back) and Luca Woodyatt (Scrum Half).
They are joined by U18 graduates Ben Koolen (Prop) and Teddy Smith Milne (Hooker), the former capped by Canada at U20 level.
Completing the group is Zac Jones, a highly rated fly half who arrives from the Saracens Academy, having recently represented England at the U18 Men’s Six Nations Festival.
All nine players were presented with their shirts by Gloucester Rugby, England and British & Irish Lions legend Mike Teague during half time of Saturday’s fixture against Newcastle Red Bulls.

“I’m incredibly proud of how each player has developed during their time with us. I’d also like to acknowledge the contribution of our staff, their teammates, grassroots clubs and schools, and of course their families, who have all played a vital role in their journey so far.”
