Run4Wales – Cardiff Half Marathon

SUMMARY
Run4Wales are one of the leading event delivery organisations in the UK. Its current portfolio of events includes the Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon, ABP Newport Wales Marathon & 10K, VELOTHON Wales, Cardiff Bay Run, Barry Island 10K and the Royal Welsh Trail Running Festival.

Run4Wales first appointed Engagesport in 2013. With a full evaluation, Engagesport worked with Run4Wales in identifying their key commercial assets and developed a sponsorship structure for their flagship event – the Cardiff Half Marathon.

Having put together a deliverable sponsorship structure, Engagesport then implemented an effective sales strategy which has delivered key partnerships for the event with major brands such as Brooks, Lucozade, Maxifuel, Aldi, Arriva Trains Wales, Sytner BMW.

Due to the commercial success of the Cardiff Half Marathon, Engagesport has also acted as commercial consultants on other major projects for Run4Wales, including the World Half Marathon.
