Rees-Zammit titled the youngest ever European try scorer for Gloucester
Louis Rees-Zammit, aged 18, scored for Gloucester against Connacht on Sunday, leading to a 26-17 win for his team and marking him as the youngest European try scorer to play for Gloucester.
The young wing has had a memorable season at the team, after becoming the youngest Gloucester player to perform in a Premiership fixture in April 2019.

Gloucester head of academy, Richard Whiffin, told WalesOnline “Louis has been outstanding for us on the pathway for the last few years.
“He’s been doing it at age grade for the Under-18s for two years and it’s fantastic that he’s been able to step up and show that at Prem Shield level.
“He’s got flashes of brilliance, but he also works hard and he’s got a big future.”
Rees-Zammit has been in Gloucester’s junior academy for the last two years after being offered a place at Hartpury College. He turned 18 in February 2019, having previously been a part of the Cardiff Blues Academy and a regular in the Wales U18 setup.
