Dombrandt wins Fan’s Man of the Match at Twickenham
Alex Dombrandt scored two tries for England as they beat the Barbarians 51-43 at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday.
Harlequins rising star Alex Dombrandt shone at Twickenham last weekend as the Red Roses secured a memorable victory over the Barbarians in their annual Quilter Cup match, who also had two Club legends in their ranks in James Horwill and Joe Marler.

“Alex Dombrandt understands the game and he’s still developing his body into a proper Premiership and hopefully international rugby player,” England scrum-half Danny Care said on the Rugby Union Weekly podcast.
“Playing the Barbarians at Twickenham in an England shirt – he’s said it’s a dream come true for him.”
The 22 year old flanker has had a remarkable debut professional season at the Club since he graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University last Summer. Dombrandt wore an England jersey for the first time and went away to win Fan’s Man of the Match.
